Living well with Parkinson’s

Living with Parkinson’s changes life — but it doesn’t remove strength, purpose, or dignity. Diagnosed 16 years ago, I've adapted, learned, and discovered what genuinely helps. This website exists to share practical, grounded guidance for navigating life with Parkinson’s — emotionally, mentally, and physically.

Why this site exists

Parkinson’s is often discussed in terms of symptoms and medication, but the human experience — loss of confidence, fatigue that disrupts daily life, anxiety about the future, and changes in identity, work, and relationships — is talked about far less. I built this site to address those realities honestly and constructively. It’s not about pretending Parkinson’s is easy; it’s about navigating it with clarity, resilience, and self-respect.

My unique perspective and expertise

I don’t speak about Parkinson’s from theory alone; I live with it every day. Alongside 16 years of lived experience, I bring global wellbeing expertise focused on resilience, emotional health, and sustainable performance. The guidance shared here complements medical care and information from trusted organisations such as Parkinson’s UK — without replacing professional advice.

Practical guidance for living well

Discover practical guidance focused on real-life challenges: confidence & identity, fatigue & energy management, anxiety & emotional resilience, relationships & communication, and finding purpose & meaning after diagnosis. Each section is designed to be clear, supportive, and usable – not overwhelming.

Support for partners & carers

Parkinson’s doesn’t only affect the person diagnosed. Partners, family members, and carers often carry emotional strain, uncertainty, guilt, exhaustion, and relationship changes. This site also includes dedicated support for those walking alongside someone with Parkinson’s — because your wellbeing matters too.

Work with me: coaching and workshops

In addition to this free resource, I also work with individuals, groups, and organisations through speaking, wellbeing coaching, and group programmes. All work is grounded in lived experience, professionalism, and respect. Parkinson’s may change how life looks, but it does not remove who you are. Living well is not about control — it’s about informed adaptation, emotional strength, and support.
